FAQ

How to choose the appropriate sensor

1. According to the measurement object and measurement environment to determine the type of sensor. 2. Selection of the sensitivity. 3. Frequency response. 4. Linear range. 5. Stability 6. Accuracy.

Precautions for using 5000 series liquid level sensor

1. Airway can not be blocked
2. Airway can not be filled with water.
3. Do not use sharp things that destroy the film.
4. Do not use over its overload capacity
5. Do not short-circuit
6. Using bellow 60% of the full range, it has the best effect, the longest durability.

How to choose the sensor range

Load cell selection: the normal force measurement value should be 60~70% of the full range.
Pressure sensor selection: the normal force measurement value should be 50~60% of the full range.

How to judge whether the load cell is damaged

1. Using a digital multimeter test the impedance
If a sensor bridge arm is 350Ω, then using the digital multimeter test input and output impedance, they should be 350Ω, otherwise deemed to have been damaged.
2. Zero detection
Generally, the operating voltage of the sensor is 5 ~ 12V DC, using the digital multimeter test the output, if zero output (no load power) is within ± 0.5 mV, considered as normal, if more than ± 0.5 mV, considered as overload damage.
